Our Corn

We use gourmet ‘mushroom’ corn in all our Popcorn recipes to give that distinctive light, round shape, unbeatable crunchy texture and the perfect base for our specially developed recipes. By opting out of ‘everyday’ butterfly corn, Popcorn Kitchen significantly reduces the amount of small popcorn shrapnel one might expect to find lurking at the bottom of your bag or bottle.

We have sourced the exceptional Peruvian ‘Choclo’ Giant Corn for our Crunch Corn.  These huge corn kernels have a chunkier texture and more savoury flavour than the much smaller sweetcorn kernels that some roasted corn snacks use.  We think it’s worth using the original and best Giant Corn to get the best crunch.

Our Flavours

We started with a Popcorn sweet & salt combination back in 2012 that at time seemed quite shocking to some! It’s still our most popular Popcorn recipe, but has been complemented over recent years with a mix of traditional flavours and some more indulgent, classic British inspired recipes.

Our Crunch Corn, launched in 2026, uses simple bold and classic savoury flavours, to complement the super crunchy whopping big pieces of roasted corn.
