We make people happy by creating quality innovative treats and gifts, using best-in-class ingredients, and delicious and fun flavours, whilst driving our social responsibility and minimising our impact on the environment 🌳🌴
Popcorn Kitchen is no gourmet snack fly-by-night! We’ve been treading the boards making sublime, best-in-class popcorn since 2012, when we first made our name on the Surrey food festival circuit, selling ‘freshly popped’ popcorn from a mobile popcorn kettle .
Back in 2012 it was our Sweet & Salt recipe (believe you me that was cutting edge back in 2012) that first got tongues wagging and resulted in countless requests for a British-made bagged product that could be sold up and down the land. And since then we’ve created a range of gourmet Popcorn recipes, and all sorts of fantastic fun gift and variety packs. We focus on flavours that are authentic and tasty, simple and bold – never boring, and never too fussy.
In fact, we’ve become Corn-Obsessed! Our popcorn eschews the traditional ‘butterfly’ corn that makes fragile, breakable popcorn resulting in lots of small bits at the bottom of the bag. We only use gourmet ‘Mushroom’ corn which pops into big beautiful balls, that complement our flavours and are always light and puffy to eat. We know it’s a bit more expensive, but we believe it’s worth it.
Then in 2023, our owner Louise discovered a new Corn Obsession – the Crunch Corn that she found in a bar in Seville. Made with Peruvian Giant ‘Choclo’ corn, roasted to perfection and generously seasoned, she knew she had to share this salty savoury snack with her British customers. It took over 2 years of research to find the right suppliers and to develop the simple, punchy flavours that complement the whopping big pieces of crunchy corn – and in 2026, we are ready to launch our Crunch Corn range.
Our Popcorn and Crunch Corn snacks are available in packs that cover every imaginable ‘permissible snacking’ occasion, from ‘Wow-factor’ gifts and generous sharing bags, to perfectly proportioned, me-time treat packs. We’re bringing popcorn happiness and crunchy joy to everyone who appreciates great quality snacks.
And at Popcorn Kitchen, we will never chase quantity over quality, and so we focus on working with the fast-moving and premium worlds of Speciality Retailers, Garden Centres, Farm Shops, Delis, Hamper companies and independent cinemas & theatres, where standing proud from the crowd really matters.
